Cocoa Ceremony v./Betina Faurbye
Skodsborg Strandvej 139, 2942 Skodsborg
English, Danish
Cocoa ceremony is a therapeutic space where you will be supported for a life of more self-love. To label yourself in your innermost core with the desires, dreams, needs and boundaries you have. To feel more clarity so that you can separate the essential from the unimportant and be more present in the experience that life is.
For the ceremony, you are invited for a 3 hour journey inward. Here, the deep presence with yourself is practiced.
The ceremonial space is a great opportunity to feel if something should be dropped and whether anything else should be invited into your life. You are invited to feel in a sensory stimulating universe. You will be guided through the ceremony, where, in addition to ceremonial cocoa, there will be music, visualizations, breathing exercises, rituals in self-care, movement, drumming and aromatherapy. All exercises and rituals are invitations, so you notice what feels good for you.
The breath is an important tool to feel yourself. To connect you to your body and to the present. You will be introduced to various breathing exercises that, among other things, strengthen the immune system, reduce stress and anxiety and can contribute to better sleep.
Anyone can participate regardless of knowledge or previous participation in cocoa ceremony.
The ceremony will be held in beautiful and historic Villa Rex at Kurhotel Skodsborg.
Price: DKK 795 incl. cermoniel cocoa, crystals and wisdom cards.
ABOUT KAKAOCEROMONI
The ceremonial cocoa comes from Peru. It is both a food and a plant medicine that has been used for thousands of years for a variety of medicinal, spiritual, and ceremonial purposes. It has a large content of vitamins and minerals, as well as beneficial fatty acids. It contains trace elements and neurotransmitters that help increase the secretion of brain neurotransmitters and hormones that promote our psychological well-being including serotonin, dopamine and melatonin. It increases blood flow and physically the heart will feel more. ABOUT BETINA FAURBYE

About Kurhotel Skodsborg
Skodsborg – a healthy part of Denmark’s history
When you check in at Kurhotel Skodsborg, you are also checking into a piece of fantastic Danish history that is all about retreating for a while and re-energizing your body and mind.
In 1852, King Frederik 7 bought the country house Skodsborg with his wife, Countess Danner, and together they spent their long, relaxing summers here until his death in 1863. Villa Rex was built in 1857 so that the king could hold councils of state, meetings and banquets without leaving the scenic surroundings of Skodsborg. Villa Rex has been renovated with respect for history and is now used for parties and meetings.
