We offer classic mulled wine and hot apple slices in Pillar Garden and — true to tradition — turn on the Christmas lights at 4pm.
Enjoy our beautiful Christmas decorations and experience beautiful Christmas sounds from the Girls' Choir (formerly part of DR's Girls Choir).

In 1852, King Frederik 7 bought the country house Skodsborg with his wife, Countess Danner, and together they spent their long, relaxing summers here until his death in 1863. Villa Rex was built in 1857 so that the king could hold councils of state, meetings and banquets without leaving the scenic surroundings of Skodsborg. Villa Rex has been renovated with respect for history and is now used for parties and meetings.
